Crash Site

A very atmospheric and moving crash site on the moors near Snake Pass, Peak District.
A B-29 Superfortress crashed in 1948 in very poor weather conditions with no survivors.
The remaining pieces of aircraft often resemble the skeleton of a bird, stark against the dark peat, and very beautiful.
